Wire harness for 2016 HU?
Does the Parrot FOR-11CK harness that's mentioned so often work for my 2016 HU? I've heard it works for 2015 models but wasn't sure if there any differences between the two years. I have:
2016 F150 Supercrew XLT
Base audio (non-sony)
302A package, 8" screen, SYNC3

The parrot harnes will work on 2016 f150 sync 3 8 inch WITHOUT SONY. I did this yesterday an installed an Alpine KTP-445u. It now gives the door speakers that extra ummph to compliment my sub install

I too am looking into installing an amp with the Parrot harness and I have a few questions? I'm deciding between Alpine KTP-445u or Pioneer GM-D1004. (I'v never installed an amp btw.) I've installed JBL963 speakers with no improvement in sound so I need an amp now.
Are the factory speaker wires ok or do you need to re-wire larger gauge @45w per channel?
Is it a fairly easy job?
Anything else needed besides amp and parrot harness?
Thanks for the help!

I just installed this very setup this weekend a pioneer GM-D1004 amp with the Parrot FOR-11CK. it was very easy to install and I wouldn't go through the hassle of upgrading the speaker wire for these small amps.
The best sound upgrade I think is to replace the stock tweeters with something like this
These are what I put in, I'm a big Polk fan I also put in Polk 6x9 up front.
No other items required besides some connectors, I went the extra step and soldered the wires and wrapped it al in cloth tape like the factory wires.
This was a Huge improvement in sound quality for not a large amount spent. In the end it's really just plug and play with the harness, The one part I spent the most time on was finding a remote turn on power source, then I realized the amp will turn on without the blue wire hooked up when you use the speakers inputs not the rca's.

Does not come with instructions, but it's a really simple hook up.
This picture helped me understand how to wire it up.
After you cut the harness simply connect the wires together by color, I cut on the other side of the fuse and used it. The Head unit side of the harness connects to the amps speaker inputs and the Vehicle side connects to the amps speaker outputs.

So the wire colors on the pioneer speaker inputs harness and the parrot harness just happened to match up?

Yes the colors match up from the amp to the harness, don't worry about the truck wires the parrot harness is designed to have it work out for you, once installed you'll have correct fade and balance.

I never realized the colors were standardized Cool.
What about the center channel speaker? What color are those wires and did you just disconnect it? I was planning on keeping it connected running directly from the the factory HU and not amplifying it.

I just disconnected mine before the amp install, I'm pretty sure the harness does not cover the center speaker, it wouldn't matter if it was playing you will never hear it over the amplified speakers.
