I used to have two 10" Xplods and loved them, I had them for appox. 1 and half years and slammed them everyday w/ a Kenwood 900 watt 2 channel amp and never had a problem, I picked mine up from walmart for like $60 apiece. IMO they are great for the price, I recently upped to two Kicker CVR 10" that are also just amazing.
The sales place was tryin to sell me JL but I decided to go w/ Kicker and am extremely happy w/ my decision.

i have 2 12" cvr kickers in my f150. ive had em for bout 2 years and never had a problem.im runnin 2 1600 watt amps 1 mono block bridged for 2 ohm stable for the subs and the other 4 chanle for my doors.also a mmats pro audio mp5 pre amp eq got every thing tuned so i can blast it all day every day with no distorting or risk of blowing it soundes like a concert. imo kicker all da way!!!
