Default USB Audio wont work with my phone but Does with thumb drivers ?

Hey
Im having a really tough time with this.
I really would like to get this working somehow ( I'm NOT not interested Bluetooth )
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S10e & a Galaxy Tab S5e
All of them work outputting audio to various Dac's & stereo equipment ( Audio Out Through USB )
But i cant get any of them to work in my 2016 F150 XTL with sync 3.0.
I have developer mode enabled on the phones, "prevent USB audio routing" OFF
USB Debugging ON
USB configuration set to MTP (media Transfer Protocol)
I have tried setting USB config to "Audio Out" all that does is mute the phone speaker...
Only rarely does the phone even show up as a Audio Source then dissapears and my phone reverts back to "Charge This Phone" & not MTP
I can pretty much plug these phones into anything and output audio through USB except my Truck
These devices are running on android version 8-10
I tried unlocking my phone and removing password protection on my phone since i got the "Phone must be unlocked before plugging in " still no luck.
Android Auto works fine, turns on as soon as i plug the phone into the usb port, problem is it turns on Bluetooth immediately even when i tell it "Not to Use Bluetooth "
With android auto running it will NOT allow me to turn off bluetooth, it just comes back on IMMEDIATELY.

USB Thumb drives work flawlessly with 2.0 & 3.0 sticks up to 128 gb, plays my flac files just fine.

Is there anything i could try ?
I just updated Sync 3.0 to the latest version available on Ford's site & no change.

Error Message

Current Sync 3 version

USB Ports

No Phone detected

when you plug your phone up for android auto, if you turn off bluetooth directly from your phone does it still kick back on?

I should add that I did a Master Reset after updating the Sync firmware which didnt help.
Also want to mention i tried using OTG adapters but no luck there either.

Seems like there is a newer version of the USB "module" that you have to replace. I know I had to replace mine in my '16 (XLT 302a) before I could get CarPlay to work. I bought it on eBay.

Did Android Auto work prior to the update? Meaning ever? If so, disregard the below.
If not, you probably have the original version of the Data Hub (interface module (USB plugs)) that does not support Android Auto or Apple Carplay. I have read that '16's depending when made may not have the updated setup. There are 3 versions of the plugs that I know of.
No Android Auto
Android Auto capable
Android Auto and Apple Carplay capable
This can be replaced for between $60-$80
All you need is a pry tool to pry out the module, and the new one plugs into the harness and snaps back in. Check Youtube for vids if apprehensive.

Hope this helps.

Ahh, I was looking through the Android Auto settings in the app,
it looks like you can review the "connected cars" from the settings. I would remove all current connections and make sure the add new connection option is on. Then try to reconnect. If you have not tried that already.

If you can get android auto to work just download Gone Mad Music Player from the play store and run your music from there. It costs like $5 but it's a great app. I run all of my music through my Samsung Note 10+ using this app. Has a built in equalizer and a ton of tuning options. The app is compatible with Android auto so everything is right through the head unit.

I'm sure there are other apps you could use, but you'll have to do some research and see what's compatible with Android auto. Hope this helps.
