Default Turn on pop, not consistent

Hey all, getting a nasty turn on pop that isn’t consistent. Can’t seem to find a trend… I have a pre built amp rack from sounds good stereo with a PS8 pro DSP. This DSP does have amp turn on delay settings but I’m trying to understand the why of these pops. When I open my truck door, they all turn blue and power on although delay is set to 10 seconds. So is my AMP sending signal to HU before it’s ready?

I would try to first see if the pop is coming from the HU or the amps. Unplug your RCA going from DSP to amp and see if the pop is there, if so then its your amps. That will at least give others some idea of what might be happening. I had issue with pop when I first installed my system but it wasn't turn on pop it was turn off pop. I ended up fixing it by using a remote turn on from the passenger fuse box. I have an LC7i and originally used its signal sense as remote turn on for everything, Now I only use the signal sense to turn on the LC7i and my DSP, which triggers from just unlocking or opening doors, and use the ACC fuse remote wire to turn on the amps, which is triggered with ignition turn on.

I did, just seeing if there’s more creative ideas. It’s not consistent, and hasn’t happened for the last 20 or so cycles until this morning. Walk up, open door, get in, push button about 6 seconds later… loud pop from tweeters. The not consistent part is what I don’t understand.

Any ideas? I have reached out to Sounds good stereo, they recommend I add a chain of remote turn on leads to amps. But I can’t remove rack right now to try that due to a stripped bolt.

What I don’t understand, is this pop is not consistent. I got a big one today, after probably 80+ key cycles with nothing. Any idea what that could be?

Run down a list of your equipment again please and how you have everything connected.

What is your ps8 pro using for signal detection?

I think the Zen is sending signal? Not quite sure. It’s the PS8 pro, and then two arc amps for sub and speakers, with zen unit.

Someone else recommended this, I did buy an optical cable. But I don’t understand the what or how to do it. Doesn’t that involve unplugging a bunch of stuff?
