Hope i answered your questions respectfully and accurately. I appreciate the suggestions. Keep in mind that this is the first time i have attempted this kind of install on my own. I had fun doing it and look forward in updating as i go.

I have decided to get a different set of components. Im going with sundown audio 6.5 mids/ highs and sa neopro 8" mid bass for the rear doors. I might fiberglass the door speakers since theres so much room to play around with them.

As far as the enclosure goes, Robert Moon from Soundament Loudspeaker out of greenville, sc. Is going to build the box. We are starting with 2 subs but leaving room for 2 more. It will be a front firing side ported box. Material ive decided to go with is MDF. I believe i will have close to 3 cubic feet.... Here is a video of 4 sa-8 v1's..Look at how his lights dim like hell, way to much loss of power for the amp...i hate that but this is why im going with 8" sube, they have the potential to bang pretty hard.

Do the big 3 wiring upgrade and you may not have the dimming problem.. The minimal investment is well worth it...

why the batteries?

why not just drop in a couple of 2.0 farad caps?

the only thing is you'd have to run the truck for a min before you turn the stereo on.

After all the research i have done, I chose to get a battery due to it being a stronger source of constant power.
