I say go ported. They both sound good but I personally think they're better than sealed.

Here's a link from Sound Advice's website. I don't think you'll find it much cheaper than this.

i have another question i have a 97 ext cab and the back seat splits and their is a frame sorta in the middle goin to the floorboard does anyone make a sub box to go under my back seat ?

Depends. You can get a knock off brand on ebay for $100.00 for a roll of 100 feet. And it's not as good as dyno mat. But it works just as good. Heres a link.

If that link doesn't work anymore. Just search for Dynamat on Ebay. It will pull it up. It's $104.99 with 30.00 shipping. And honestly. I know that sound expensive. But you would have enough to do your entire truck. And do the trunk and doors of a car. Only reason I know that is because we did it to a friends truck. Then used to rest on my old 95 Ford Probe.

Oh and on the sub box for your truck. Yes.. PROBOX makes a box that will fit.

130 for 100 feet is not bad at all, its someting like 3.15 a foot at radioshack.

Don't plug the hole. The trapped air on the backside of the speaker will act as a spring and dampen the motion of the speaker cone.

idk wer u got that from but probos doesn't make one for my model jus 99-03 i already looked and i'm friends with a guy that owns a audio business .the only box they make for my model is sealed and that ain't even made by probox

depends on how much of it you need. it is usually decent priced on ebay. I think i got it though from a wholesaler for 30 for enough to do the trunk of my BMW
