I can't speak for other subs out there, but my Rockville RW10CA is awesome. Also a powered sub that I have under my rear seat. Can't beat the price. I have zero complaints. This is also a powered sub, so everything you'd need is in this link.

tland4 how is the Rockville RW10CA holding up? Also did you use the wtp1212 harness? Wondering if the Rockville picks up the 6v signal from the factory harness? Thanks

It's holding up well. I had to retune it a few times as it kept overheating and crapping out. Got that fixed and now I love it. It's not window breaking, but it definitely fills that low end void in the system.

I bought it with the Rockville RWK10 wiring kit and wired it to the battery.

Excellent that's good to hear, did you relocate it to avoid overheating? For the price I'm just looking to round out and add some low end so it sounds like it will work. I also looked at the online manual, says it needs at least 5v signal. So the stock harness should work if you ever decide to go that route.

I don't believe my truck has the stock harness. I also have an aftermarket stereo, not sure if that matters, but I'd rather connect it to the stereo via RCA anyway.

I actually just have it sitting under the rear seat. It does get good air circulation down there. The tuning helped. It only "went out" on longer road trips after a few hours, and that was before I retuned it. Hasn't gone out since. For me, it's been a great investment. I'm at the point now where I kind of want even more bass, so I may look at upgrading to something bigger soon just for the heck of it. This hasn't disappointed me at all though; it's been exactly what I thought it'd be when I bought it

Awesome, thanks for the information just ordered one. If I ever want more I'm not out much at all.

No problem. That was my exact thought process. Can't really go wrong for $100, and all I'd seen were good reviews on it.

What exactly do you mean by "tuning"? I don't know too much about audio.
