Default seat belt chime

Is there any way to silence that annoying ding ding, ding ding, ding ding when you dont hook up your seat belt?

Just buckle it and sit on top of it.

Wasnt trting to be a smartass. What year is your truck? Im certain the last 8 years its built into the sound system somehow, before that its a module. I pulled the module out of my truck. Its sitting in the garage somewhere. Mainly because it beeped when my door was open. I dont think my truck even has the seat belt feature. But the easiest way to get around it is buckle it then sot.

No offense taken, thats exactley what the dealer told me! On my 06 chevy there was a wire that could be cut in the harness to the seatbelt that was it. Just figured someone would've tried or known about it in the fords( mines a 2010 fx4 just picked it up last night and i love it)

Look in owner manual, page 84 or 87, it is under the safety belt area. It is a complex ordeal of turn on your key then plug and unplug the seat belt so many times ect... Works a charm.

It mayy be the new 6 spd, there have been lots of posts about shuddering. Do a search and you will find plenty. I fortunatly do not have it but I have custom tunes.
