Oh wow, that works. Im gonna try to punch the stud out and replace it with something shorter. If your box didnt have the 2x4 under it do you think it would fit perfectly with no interference? Also how are your amps getting signal from the head unit? Im gonna squeeze an lc7i behind the head unit.

The sub box would still sit as high as it does now without the 2x4, the 2x4 makes things easy for the box to sit on and mount the amp. my pictures don't show it but i used this
https://www.amazon.com/Stinger-SGW99...s=9+wire+cable

To send the signal to the amp, i just wired it in with the speaker outs on the parrot wire harness and then wired it to the amps speaker level inputs. if you use a lc7i wire to that first with the 9 wire cable then out of it to the amp.

Thank you, so if i lowered the woofer box that extra inch and a half, you dont think the box would fit better? Ie the bracket would still hit the box?

I appreciate the help a ton man thank you

Your welcome

If you look at the back wall of the truck it has a curve in it, this curve causes the box to actually push more forward towards the seat. with the 2x4 it gets up past the curve and allows the box to sit just a bit further back.

Oh ok now i understand a bit more. My box is coming this week. I think im just gonna massage that bracket down a bit so it doesnt interfere at all. My plan at least haha. The polks sound good even though there slightly under powered?

That won't hurt it. A "sealed" sub box doesn't have to be 100% air tight. Drilling a hole to run a bolt thru won't affect performance at all. Now you cut a 1" hole and leave it wide open then you'd change performance but just putting a bolt in won't be a problem.
