Question Looking for new head unit / stereo for 2014 Lariat

Hi all,
I've been doing some research and was really looking forward to getting the TS setup for my truck until I called them and found out it's for 2015+ while my truck is a 2014. I have Sync w/ MyFord Touch (with unlocked GPS and a few other things) and I swapped out all speakers (and tweeters). I am looking at this Kicker 8" sub for either behind the rear seat or under it - https://amzn.to/2On2tlG

Ideally I would like an Android based, touch screen unit that will work with my climate control (I can only activate climate controlled seats via the screen). Would be nice to have XM or Sirius but would be even nicer to have WiFi so I can tether.

Can anyone recommend anything? I do have a reverse camera.
Thanks.

Have a big budget? I would add a sub and see how you like it.

Don't really have a budget or a max amount I want to spend, just want something awesome. Are you suggesting that I add a sub before anything else?

Now I'm wondering if my best option is to upgrade to Sync 3. Looking at this now - https://www.ebay.com/itm/FACTORY-OEM...0.Xsync+3.TRS0

I did the upgrade to Sync 3 and I love it. I bought apim/screen from a junkyard, bought the hub stuff from amazon, then sold myfordtouch and came out even in the upgrade. Only thing I lost was factory nav, but apple car play does everything I need it to so I was good with that.

That's awesome, it looks like that's what I'll be doing but I haven't found an APIM/Screen with a GPS for under $600 yet. Did you find yours online or at a local junkyard? Do you mind posting some links of the stuff you bought on Amazon? I would really appreciate it!

I was wrong, bought these items here. Also, remember that it doesn't have to be a sync 3 screen/APIM from a f-150. It can be from any ford vehicle with sync 3. Mine came out of a fusion hybrid, i just had to modify the OEM brackets of my sync 2. I paid 185 for a screen/APIM from a junk yard. the 400+ navigation wasn't worth it to me. Just remember, whatever vehicle it is from, you'll have to change the as-built data using forscan.

Yes I have found that adding a sub and upgrading the door speakers is an inexpensive way to upgrade the sound. In your case, with no budget, then the sky is the limit.
