I absolutely REFUSE to hack up the wiring on a vehicle that's less than a year old. Hell, I wouldn't even do it on 2004 when I bought it in 2011. I de-soldered the connectors from the factory speakers instead.
You said that the front driver side was the one that crackled. How could you have fixed the crackle by fading it to the front?

Both were crackling/staticky. It went away when I faded to the front. Literally, mid song, I faded fully to the front and the crackling static disappeared. I have to look at the connectors more to fix the shaky sound from the driver's front though. I'm thinking foam insulation tubing or dielectric grease in the female half of the connector...I'll figure something out. I never had any problem with my '01 or '04 and it's literally the exact same connector.

Messed with the connectors and wires a little today. I think I figured out what was causing the crackle for me: Length. Specifically, the wires on the adapter connectors are too long and they allow the factory wiring harness to have slack and swing around, causing an intermittent connection. I shortened the wires and flipped my speakers upside down, causing the slack in the wiring harness to be taken up. I will have to test on the way to work tomorrow, but it seems my crackle is gone.

If anybody with crackling has some time, you could try the same thing. Cut the wires on the adapter harness down, crimp some new ends on it and reinstall for testing.

Default Omg I can't take this!

Ok so I took the footboard off again today. Put a factory speaker in the rear and the rear soeaker that wasn't crackling, in the front. Success-so I thought. Just got back from dinner and -CRACKLING SPEAKER!
I only used the factory wire, soldered the wire onto the speaker terminals. But, it only crackles when I hitva bump. WTF? I have no idea what it is. But at least now I know it's NOT the speaker.
What's next?
I am really at a loss here. Any help please?

I really don't know. Taking up the slack has completely removed any crackling or other weirdness for me.

Is there a possibility that the signal is jumping from one terminal to the other creating this? I did not put tape over the terminals after soldering them. It's weird. Ur will start out of the blue, get real bad then stop for awhile. I am lost. Does not happen when car is off only when moving. Seems to get worse when turning left? Maybe my imagination
