Default LC6i or LC8i

Need a little help guys. My 2012 has Sony and Nav. I have added subs with an LC2i but I am returning it for either the 6i or the 8i. Mainly because the 2i is perfect for just subs but I need to upgrade it to amp my doors.

Here's the question. With the LC6i I would input the tweeter wires, the front door woofer wires, and the sub wires. This is the route I would like to go. With the 8i I can input tweeter, front doors, rear doors, and sub.

Can I just go the 6i route? I'm hoping so but need some feedback.

Thanks.

I seen a lot of these units, someone has to have some input. My understanding the main difference is I would lose fading ability with the 6i, and all SYNC speech would come through front and rear.

Well the answer is neither. Purchased a different unit and got everything installed last night. I knew the Sony system could sound better but wow! Didn't expect this much improvement.

get the LC8i ever if your not using all the outputs you will still have it for future use. LC6i would be all you need. I don't think they make LC4i but that is probably all you would need at most.
