It is BS.

From what I hear, most dealers are charging a 0.5-1 hrs of their shop rate to make a change. Still ridiculous since it only takes 5mins. But they don't charge by the minute. 0.5 hour is pretty much the minimum.

And I'm fine with paying a half hours rate but I'm not paying $125 and there is definitely no reason for them to need it for a hour and a half. I'll just buy all the stuff and do it myself before I pay that. Which is looking like what I'll end up doing. This is one of the dumbest things I've come across. why even put the plug there in the first place if it takes having to go through this process.

Yeah, what some charge is nuts. As it literally took the service tech, 5 mins, start to finish enabling my sub connector.

Glad I built and installed my own.

Ok I have the MX Bluetooth adapter and downloaded Forscan lite because I have to use my old galaxy 4 phone as my laptop does not have Bluetooth. I will be using a Bluetooth enabled laptop this evening to try again because after a hour of sitting in the truck last night I got nothing accomplished. I know, it's ridiculous but I guess I'm just not a tech savvy as I thought I once was. Any help as to what I need to do is greatly appreciated. All I'm trying to do is activate the friggin subwoofer feature and learn how to use this tool. Thanks in advance.

That the Android app correct? The app doesn't have the capabilities to change the settings. You need the windows version AFAIK.
