The end result is this: If your amp is receiving signal from the OEM sub plug/wires then it must be enabled in the ACM.
To my knowledge. The signal wires in the OEM plug are not fed until the option is enabled in the ACM |
That makes sense to me. I sent bobby at banner auto a question today to see if there had been any other customers who reported a dead sub. I don't want hack up the harness to get to the same conclusion that the sub doesn't work. Thanks for the feedback so far, much appreciated.

could be a bad amp. |
Didn't put much thought into it being the amp but yea I guess so if it's correct to assume power to amp should equal sound from sub. Shipping this thing back would be a pain, I wonder if a directly replacement could be done through any ford dealership.

with power only, the amp turns on but no sound. with signal only, the amp doesn't turn on and no sound. But, you can bypass the amp and connect straight to a speaker to get sound. |
