Im going to get a Kicker CompR 2 Ohm 10 Inch. Would a Kicker CX300.1 push that good or is it worth upgrading to the CX600.1. Just looking for sound improvement not looking to hit hard. Thanks for any input.

Yes it should run it fine. But that's a DVC (dual voice coil) sub which means you will have to run it at 4 Ohms or 1 Ohm. However, you will need to run that amp at 2 Ohms to get the 300 Watts out of it. I would recommend you get the 4 Ohm version and wire the dual voice coils in parallel for a 2 Ohm load so you can use all the amp's power.

Or I can sell you my Image Dynamics 600w sub for 180 way cheaper than even that kicker 300. Only used it for about 2-3 months never turned up all the way and looks pretty decent still. Pm me for info if you're interested
