Default Home recorded CD won't work in 2017 F-150

Any reason a home recorded audio cd wouldn't work in my 2017 XL? I tried an MP3 disc first (assuming a 2017 model would host the very latest technology). It started to play the first song then stopped playing after about 1 minute. I then burned another disc as a simple audio cd (i.e. bigger files than an MP3). Same thing happened. Both discs play fine on other cd players and on both of my computers. All other cds (i.e. commercial music cds) work just fine in my truck. Really strange.

Yep, it's a CD-R. Hmmmm….I wonder if I didn't close the disc. I'll try that tonight!
