Default Factory Amp Replacament?

Does anybody make a plug and play amp to replace the factory Sony 700Watt Amp? OEM connections just a simple unplug OEM and install aftermarket, no wires to run, etc...

If not I really think it would be a great idea for someone to make!

Nope, and noone will. Even if the f150 is the most popular truck on the road, what percentage came with Sony? And what percentage of those people want to upgrade? Your looking as expensive R&D for a niche product without a big market.

You could say the same for any mod made for the F-150. But I don't understand your point.

Wouldn't be hard at all get wiring diagram for truck and make connections that plug into factory on the amp. Maybe I'm just wishing for the stars I don't know....

It would take much more than just wiring. The sony amp takes a CAN signal and converts it to speaker level signals. You would have to have a CAN interface built into the amp. Even if you did this you would have to run new power and ground wires, as the wires that are there to power the amp certainly arent big enough to provide juice for an amp of any significant power. At that point you might as well just sum the signals and run whatever amp you want to
