Default Deep Subwoofer Box? (7")

I have searched and searched for a deep box to fit in my 2004 Super Cab, under the rear seat. I know i will have to lift the seat, thats not an issue. I have two 12' Alpine Type R subs and they have a mounting depth of 6.75". I already have the subs, don't want to sell them and get new ones.

I'm having a similar issue... not raising my seats though. I've been able to design a box to fit some 5.75-deep subs with minimal projection into leg space. 6.75-deep is a whole other animal... hopefully, someone here has done a similar project and can provide advice.

why dont you just do a center console box if your dead set on those subs, if your willing to sell subs the best subs that fit under the rear seats are dc audio level 2's...you can look at them here at www.dcsoundlab.com.

if you have any box questions or anything else like that feel free to ask

I cut a template from chipboard to get the profile under seat. I don't know the exact configuration for the 2004, but logan's mention of the center console may work for side firing drivers.

I prefer them under the seat, but you'll need to fabricate the enclosure to project into legroom a bit to accommodate those type R's. A seat raise and 2-3 inches will probably do the trick. My projection is 2.5-inches and barely noticeable -- there isn't a tendency to tuck your feet when in the back being that low to the deck.
