Some of the best explanations can be found in this thread as to why you might want to do this. This is good info for anyone using a DSP and finding the capabilities. This is why threads like these are so interesting. It never occured to me to eliminate the rear speaker connections on the input side as I wanted those speakers in the mix. Eliminating them from the input side and running them from the output side using the front speakers as the input, makes the rear speakers an extension of the fronts. It fills the cab with sound without messing up the 'stage' effect. Just makes it fuller, IMO. It's what I'm looking for.
