Got my restocked dayton dsp-408 yesterday. Getting everything pieced together slowly. Seems like everyone is recommending the Morel's, so might just go with those as they are cheaper than the alpine's anyways.

Still looking into speakers. Took the Hertz ones off the list, heard a set of them and didn't like the harshness of the tweeters.
I dont know if it matters too much, but I notice that the morel's are the only ones on my list that have a paper cone in them, while the others have something else. To me, that doesn't scream quality and justify the cost for them. I might be off my rocker, though.
The more I think about building my own box, I'll probably just go with the MTI behind the seat one. 3
LMI Welding sells a kit to move the rear seat forward 2", it is like $165, link below - My kit was delivered this week and my sub/box from JL will be here next week going to install once it arrives - I am not positive that it will fit yet, fingers crossed.

I looked at the MTI boxes, but for the price i went with the LMI kit + the JL CS110TG-TW3 Truck Power Wedge - creativeaudio is currently selling this for $380 shipped (authorized dealer)

If your interested I can report back next week regarding fitment of the sub with the LMI Kit

The LMI kit works great. I have it installed on my truck as well. The JL box does sound good but doesn't look nearly as clean since it is not a custom made box fit for our trucks. The MTI enclosures fit perfectly and sound awesome. I sell either and also an authorized dealer. I honestly think a ported enclosure sounds better than a sealed using this particular sub. This is something to consider since the JL prefab box is sealed.

Ok. Build coming together a little more now. Got a set of Morel Tempo 692's from a friend who had a brand new set laying around. Got them for a steal.
Probably going to just hook up the speakers with the amp I have and then get a sub later.
