Since the door chimes run through the factory radio. I takes a bit for the amp to turn on and the chimes to come back to "normal" sound. When the amp is on, normal chimes, when the amp is off, different sounding chimes. My experience.

Just had my New DSP installed in my 14 with sony. Used all the high levels as inputs with no rca splices. My question would be do i need all 3 points changed or is the APIM change all that is needed? Apologies if this has been answered NOOB to the forum

ACM 727-01-01 xx5A xxxx xxxx
ACM 727-01-02 00xx
APIM 7D0-01-01 2xxx xxxx xxxx <--- this change required only if you have Sony DSP

Thanks

Hi Team,

I am just in my truck doing these changes now to get a 4v output and flatten the EQ. i go to save these modules in the ACM (as built ?) and i get an error about checksum data error?

FORSCan codes:
ACM
727-01-01 xx5A xxxx xxxx This one makes the factory outputs a low level for an aftermarket amp.
727-01-02 00xx This one flattens the factroy EQ.

Thank you! OK i did the two code changes and you can tell it worked...hoping to confirm here. First the center speaker still sounds normal volume but the door speakers are all low volume now. I assume that is normal?

Yes. Door speakers are now getting a low level RCA signal so will be quiet. Center will stay normal.
