Well tonight I hooked up the laptop and did a factory reset on the DSP unit and that seemed to clear my no sound issue. Weirdly enough in the software my front sound is coming in on channels 3/4 instead of 1/2 as wired by their instructional, however I did fade my sync all the way front to ensure it was indeed the front channel input to the DSP. i decided to leave a USB plug plugged in and tucked away should I have any other issues after I put the interior back in it will be easy access tuning.
i have to say once I linked up and started playing with the DSP I was amazed at the adjustability and sound I was able to quickly adjust to my liking listening to muse.

Unfortunately my goal was just to get sound playing tonight which I did. I need to work on something for work the rest of the evening, so tomorrow will be interior installation and subs as well to wrap it all up. Thanks to Dhmcfadin for the reset tip on the DSP!

Today I got the interior installed and the subs and fox box. I am still chasing a small sound issue that dhmcfadin has been helping with but I may need to swap my DSP for a new one. I hope to have it more dialed in or diagnosed tomorrow afternoon.

Well the truck is all done with installation and I absolutely love the DSP and it’s adjustability. The sounds is so crisp and it is one of the best sounding systems as have put together. I am very pleased with the setup and sound. Thanks to dhmcfadin for helping me with some troubleshooting and exchanging some files.

So now I am upgrading the front door speakers to a full 2 way Focal component set that came today. Then I will be able to finally tune everything correctly.

So new midbass door speakers in now, and new tweeters mounted in the factory locations. I’ll add a photo of the stock tweeters just for those wondering what they look like. I had to tear them apart to use a piece of their mounting hardware with my new tweeters which I superglued to the old bracket to put them in the exact same location as stock. Tomorrow will be tuning day finally...

I had an old Kydex holster that I cut up. Heated it over my toaster to flatten it out and the rebend into mounting brackets. Drilled the screw holes and then hot glued the tweeter to the Kydex strap.

Do you have a cap on the tweeters? If not, just make sure to not have them plugged in before tuning. That way you can make certain that the tweeters aren't getting a full signal so they won't blow. If you have caps installed disregard this message.

i will have to disconnect them when I get off work then. The tweets are sealed so I couldn’t see the rear of the tweeter.

i did find that I have a 7 spkr system and not a 6 spkr like I thought. My truck also has the green sub connector on the rear drivers side floor and is wired for a pwr rear window
