The way you can check if its hooked up correctly is, If the Balance isn't working correctly. What was happening is that I could hear both speakers no matter what side I put the balance on. When I put it in the middle both speakers got much louder.[/QUOTE]
Ok. I have my harness going to a PAC LOC and the RCA cables to my amp. I did the balance/ fader thing and my rear speakers are doing exactly what your front speakers were doing but I'm not sure if it's the left or right that is wired (labeled) wrong. Do you by any chance know the polarity and wire color for each channel on the harness? I have the UK harness.
Also, did the hiss go away?

I switched the two negatives at the LC7i. This fixed the balance problem. What's happening is both speakers are in a loop since the harness is wrong. I am waiting for the rain to stop so I can work on the hiss. The first thing I am going to do is clean some more paint off the ground location. The next step will be to try the jumper change at the LC7i. Let me know if that fixes it!
