That by far is the cleanest setup in this thread so far. Nice job! What's the rest of your setup?

Agreed. Awesome execution. Hows the heat build up if you drive them hard for awhile? Or do you have some hidden trick ventilation somewhere?

thanks, The XD amps heat up less than your standard amp and they have thermal rollback so that they don’t shut down. I also have them in my offroad truck and I play them hard for hours with no heating issues.

Default My set up

Just an FYI to all those concerned with drilling, there is a crossmember along the back wall that gives you a mounting surface that will keep your screws in the cab as long as you arent using 3" ones. Also there are tabs at the bottom that can be used the same way but the bottom is really not going anywhere, I did mine because I am ****. Also, I relocated my factory center channel to the right side of my lower console for nav voice and phone calls through the factory system. I placed a 5 1/4 JL in the dash for my center, C5 comps in the front, C5 coax's in the rear, two JL8"s, Alpine V9 on doors, smaller alpine running tweeters and center, JBL MS 8, stock nav head unit, the JL box fits well underneath the seat. I have a BM MK IV Sub on order but it is really going to have to sound good for me to get rid of this box from JL. Attached a few pics.

did you make that tray under the seats? im considering selling my older bigger foot print amps and going with the nano class D ones. They are tiny and in my case would be easier for installation. Not I have to decide if i want to just do a LOC or a audio lc2i.

@KBZ F150 straight from JL Audio's website. Hope this answers most of your questions.

its not to the exterior of the truck so it wont rust or show, I stripped the back of my screw to the metal and dynamated the whole thing, then i mounted my subs amp and eq on separate boards through the dynamat. then I put the oem carpet and pad over it, neatly trimmed the carpet around the electronics. Not a single rattle or drip and i left the vents alone. Ford put them in for a reason and mine make zero noise.

I did not use adhesive because in the event that I trade it in I am taking it all out.
