Upgrading soon, what to get?
Ive got a ranger now and need to upgrade soon. Im searching through the treads now, but figured id introduce myself as well.
I need something that has decent mileage b/c i travel for work a lot. Right now i get around 15mpg, so anything around there or better would be good. Dont have a ton of cash to buy a new truck, but will be saving to lift eventually.
Any suggestions for years/engines? Any problems to look for when out shopping for trucks? All help would be much appreciated.

My old man has a 5.0 and his buddy has the ecoboost both from 2012. My dad had 34inch toyo m/t and his buddy has the stock tires. They get the exact same mileage. Only other difference is my dad has a exhaust made by a local company in Utah. So it's really your preference IMHO. I would personally get the 5.0 cause I like my dads truck. I have nothing against the ecoboost. I think it is an amazing engine. I heard they are going to release the Eco in the 2014 expedition. If they do that, I am going to buy that for my wife.
