Tundra Lemon
Hello, my name is Jeff and I am working on moving from A Tundra to an F150.
My 2007 Tundra has had many problems(2 front diffs, 1 tranny, 1 driveshaft, 1 front axle, and now it has been sitting at the dealer for 3 weeks due to 2 bad air pumps and a bad air valve). I have had enough with this truck and the great thing is that I have a 2010 F150 screw 4x4 with a 5.4 as a rental. It works out great having so much time to have a test drive.
I am putting my Tundra through the Lemon Law(out of service for a cumulative total of 30 or more days). I already have a 2010 F150 FX4 screw all picked out the only thing I have to do when the time finally gets here is to decide on what color I want. Right now it is a toss up between Silver and Blue.

A first hand comparison between what you like and dislike about each truck (aside from your Yota's problems) would be appreciated if you feel up to it. Its a perspective that not many people on this site get from a non-biased source.
Also, welcome to the Ford family. You'll enjoy your stay and wonder what took ya so long to get here.

1. My Tundra didn't have DRL's and the F150does. I don't want my lights to be on during the day.
2. In the Tundra when I turned on the hi beams the low beams stay on. I like how I can light up the night. The Tundra has really bright lights, even on low beams people would flash me.
3. The Tundra has little tip out drawers in the front doors that are perfect for spare keys and what not.
4. I can't stand where the window lock-out swith is on the F150, I always hit it when openning the door and end up locking the windows. The kids and wife hate it.
5. Tundra had a little footrest built into the floor for your left foot.
6. The Tundra has a telescoping steering wheel which I really am missing, right now with the F150 I am reaching more than I want to be.
7. The Tundra has an bonus upper glove box along with a big regular glove box.
Although the Tundra does have a lot of nice little features like those stated above, it in the long run is a POS!
That's all I can think of of the top of my head, if I think of anything else I will add later.

Anyway welcome aboard and I like the sliver better than the blue
Hey Jeff!
I just joined up here too. I've started an intro thread with my comments on both trucks here:

Hope you get into the new truck soon!
