Question Towing vibrations

Just bought 2012 F150 FX4, crew cab, with 5.0L engine,4x4---first trip out hauling my Aluminum Fishing Boat, 3,300 lbs and having steering vibrations, it feels like the truck is having problems hauling this boat trailor,
I don't know why this is happening, has anyone had similar problems ?

Shook up in Muskoka

Welcome to the forum. I would take it to the garage. But leave the boat and trailer on it.

Make sure the load in the trailer is set up right lots of people make the misstake of not checking where the load is, there should be more of the load forward of the trailer axle than aft. if thats not it like the other guy said take it to the shop with the trailer on it.

For the heck of it I would jack the wheels up on the boat trailer and turn them by hand to see if there's an issue with the wheels hanging up, or possibly a brake hanging up on the boat trailer while you're going down the road. Check for worn bearings on the trailer too.

Hope this helps point you in a direction.
