A Suthern Howdy to all.
Ok so I have never joined in a fourm to discuss items ect...{ps as and older southern gentle man} My spellings the pitts..But understandable{I think ha ha}..
Any way My love and like of the F-series trucks are not tainted by my inability to spell.I have had ford trucks most of my driving age life, and still have one now..She is a F150 1985 4X4 extended cab long bed pickem-up.
We here at the house call it the GAS GUZZLER and even have a Walmart gas card with her picture on it,so when we load her up for the fule purchase at the counter, yall can imagine the looks and comments from the clerks..Yes it guzzles the fuel and gets a whapping 9.5 to 10 miles per gallon. The 351 W motor sporting a stock holly 4 barrell carb does this.
Now the Guzzler doesnt even have 100K on her yet.My most recent issue with her, is the blower motor only works now in the fast position.Any one of yall know what this shade tree mechanic can do to fix my Guzzler?
I had recently fixed the ignition switch problem, thanks to reading yalls former post and it was a cost of 25.00 for the puller and part.
P.S. Thanks for any and all help gang!

Welcome to the site! Always great to see the older generations showing up - er, and I was talking about the truck :-)
Suggestion on the heater motor is the resistor module has failed. The high speed setting bypasses this resistor module to go directly to the fan.
Not sure exactly where it's at on your vintage, but it will be wired between the fan switch in the cab and the blower motor.
I don't worry about the mileage - mine gets about 10, maybe 12 with a good tailwind. I figure I'll pay the extra for gas out of the car payments I'm NOT making :-)

Welcome to the site, from one geezer to another! LOL. Ye, the blower moter relay is the culprit with your blower motor concern. It is most likely located behind the glovebox. Just follow the wires coming from the blower motor. The resister block is on the other end of them.
