Thank ya.for the insight to the plight....good to get a glimps into the fix..ya were right the resistor was toast..it was behind the glove box..alls well now.

obusnizzle, is that highway mpg or city mpg?
my 96 F150 with the 351W gets 13mpg around town
and 17-18 on the highway, as long as I keep the speed
down and am not hauling/towing anything.

city...for the past 2 weeks. I got 20mpg on the highway.
