Hello everyone.
I'm in the planning and research stage of buying a new truck, and forums like these have always been a good source of that information. I actually joined this site several years ago when I found some wiring information pertaining to the Focus I owned at the time. I'd completely forgotten about that, and was pretty confused when I realized I already had an account.
I never thought that I'd want a truck, but since becoming a homeowner my hatchback is increasingly inadequate for my needs. It feels like I'm having to rent or borrow a truck nearly every weekend, and it makes something a simple as scrapping an old appliance into a much bigger hassle.
The biggest obstacle I've found so far is that nobody but me seems interested in a basic work truck anymore. Of course, stripped down models with only the necessities are still technically available, but the dealers around me just have rows and rows of 4 door baby bed trucks, and not much else.
