Default Moved from a 2013 Frontier to a 2019 F-150 XLT!

Hi All!

After much research (and reading numerous posts here), I finally pulled the trigger on this new XLT last night! It was time for a full size to have the extra room for growing kids and not to mention the better gas mileage, larger bed space, and newer features.

Other than some MaxLiner floor covers and a drop-in bedliner, I plan on keeping it mostly stock for now.

I did manage to get a few side-by-side pics before I left the dealer last night. Pretty cool to see the difference. Thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum! It’s been a big help!

She looks great, buddy - enjoy! I went from a Chevy Colorado to an F150 and couldn't be more pleased. The room for the kids in the back is awesome - you'll love it!

Thanks, Matt! I almost bought a Colorado before the Frontier back in 2013. Looking forward to years of memories with the f-150... With three kids (and soon to be teenager), it was time! . We took a road trip to TN a few months ago with the Nissan and while comfortable, it was still cramped. I knew even before that the writing was on the wall. I like to hold on to cars as long as possible but the reasons kept piling up...

Nice XLT !! I find it astounding that the F-150 is beating mid sized smaller trucks in fuel efficiency. Before buying the F-150 I'd looked at Colorado/Canyon trucks. 17/23 in 4x4 trim. The STX is 19/24 in 4x4, and at 900 miles on the clock mostly suburban driving in a city nick named by truck drivers for it's many stoplights, the info ctr readout is saying 20.8 avg mpg. Wow.

Again, congrats on the XLT it looks fantastic !!

Congrats!

You'll enjoy the F150. It's quite a step up!

Go practice parking as you will need it. LOL

I do love a Nissan. Great trucks.

LOL! Thanks! When I'm at work, I usually backed my Nissan into a spot so the butt didn't stick out. I definitely have to do that more now with the F-150, as well as hug the side curb to get further away from the spot next to me. It's a much wider footprint and some people like flinging open car doors... I'm not sure what I'll do if it gets a ding early on.

Wife was briefed on how far away to park ours, couple times couldn't find it it was so far away.

as well as hug the side curb to get further away from the spot next to me.
