Alright guys/girls:

I have been out of the Ford market nearly a year after getting a '15 Ram Ecodiesel and welp, the Ram goes into the body shop Monday and then to the dealership on the 11th of Nov for some issues, and then when they are done, I'm going back to the F150. I previously had a 2011 FX4 with the 5.0. I loved it and still cannot answer why I got rid of it! Coupld questions if yall can help:

1. I am specifically looking for a 2013, maybe a 2014, and Is the anything changed since I haven't kept up?

2. I was always against the Ecoboost, but I am open to it now, just looking for opinions or ideas.

Another note is that I will be going back to Mike at 5startuning.com very quickly after getting a F150.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, I hope I get some input from you guys, and specifically on the Ecoboost, I know what the 5.0 is capable of and loved it. Im actually really excited to go back although my wallet is already complaining due to I know what I want done first with the truck.

 

Depending on what you are doing with your truck is really where the engine comes into play. I drive a 3.5L NA, while my dad has a 2.7L Ecoboost. Two completely different rides, the Ecoboost you can definitely feel the torque. But if you don't really trust turbos I don't think you can go wrong with the 5.0L hear great things about that engine.

 

Yeah, I have been talking with Chis at 5startuning. He likes the Ecoboosts as well as the 5.0, kinda of a personal decision.

 

jsut a question as well, but I have the tapatalk app on my phone and cant get a damn thing to come up under anything other than "trending" tab. Any ideas?
