how long before you need to replace the rack and pinion of the ford f150. i currently have 2014 which i purchase in 2015. which now has 79,800 miles .and the rack and pinion has started making dragging sounds as well scrapping noises. i went to my mechanic and found out that this is the problem
Welcome, my guess is that it depends on the driver and how they use or abuse the truck! My 2013 truck, original owner, now has 143K and on all original engine and powertrain, steering and front end parts.
