Default Pulled the trigger

After 17+ yrs owning and driving my 1998 Oxford White XLT SuperCab 6.5’er I pulled the trigger. Picked up my CPO 2017XLT SCrew Ruby Red Great Lakes Edition 6.5 from Machens Capital City Ford. My wife had wanted me to upgrade for awhile and when she saw the color and leather seats, and experienced the ride, the deal was sealed. I’ve learned a lot from cruising around this site already and am glad to be on board.

Congratulations but what is a Great Lakes Edition? Engine heater plus anything else you can heat? Electronic diff lock? Special decal pkg?

It appears it was an aftermarket partnership with Katzskin for Ford dealers in Great Lakes area. Approximately 750 2017 XL and XLTs were badged and equipped with Katzkin leather, GR fender badges, and maybe 20" wheels. I think only 2017 & 2018 GR editions were marketed before changing to a Pure Michigan marketing program. It appears these may not have moved that well so a bit of an oddity and I like odd things. Here is a link to a dealer promo video of one similar
