we need a lot more info here, what is peeling and where?

a 2018 at this point would have no factory warranty left outside of possibly emission coverage

thank you for the responce
the paint is peeling down to the coating covering the aluminum . and its running along both sides of the roof gutters above the doors. the dealership said paint warranty was 8 years or 80,000 miles . it only has 45,000 . ford turned it down not the dealership

that is incorrect info that was given to you

Paint is 3yr or 36k miles unless its corrosion causing the flaking. then that is 5 year / unlim. miles

This is fairly common with that color and with that same spot. I don’t think it’ll be covered as it’s never been corrosion but just a poor bond.

Unfortunately from time-to-time every OEM has struggled with this issue. As noted above, the warranty has long expired on your paint.
