It got too gloomy lurking in the cave so here I am in the bright glaring light
of reality. Besides, I gots questions which despite being stoopid I will ask
anyway cause I'm not proud! I even bought my first tank of gas for my new
Lariat! See? I told ya I'm not proud and I'll even admit it took 3 weeks to
rack up 250 miles! Don't laugh - my '01 only had 125K! But she had to go
cause my mama wants a travel trailer and although Old Betsy still ran like a
champ long trips hauling a trailer might not have suited her.


OK, my first question: I want a Livernois chip but Galpin Auto Sports kindly
warned me that it might not be in my long term interest to do so.
Why is life so unfair? (that's the first question - don't say I didn't warn you)

 

warranty issue and smog check issue too

 

Galpin only mentioned the warranty problem. I would think the smog would
not be an issue if the chip tuner was set to 'normal'. Not having one will
most likely prove a blessing in disguise for other obvious reasons. :-)


I see you have a Flowmaster. I am tempted by that but I don't really want
more sound, except when I'm showing a Hemi who's boss.
How is it at freeway speeds?
