Well not new to Ford forums but to this forum. I own a 00 F350 crew cab dually with a Banks system and a lot of other stuff. I am going to be giving this truck to my kid soon. I just got a 01 F150 Lariat 4x4 so I can get around in the winter. I will also be using it to tow a little 18ft. trailer. So I will be asking a lot of performance questions about the 5.4L . I have been told this is something of a "dog" engine. I only expect around 14 mpg with this engine and the 4x4. Sooooo, looking for intake, exhaust and performance chip info. No smog inspections here so who knows. I am not looking to get 400hp out of this engine but I do want it to perform a lot better.
