Default noob

figured id stop in. say Hi and hopfully get some good info to make an informed desision when buying my next truck. i dont own an F150 yet but it is looking to be my best choise for my next truck. i have been into Rangers and Bronco 2's for several years and curently have a heavaly modifyed 1988 bronco II. my next truck will be my dayly driver and tow rig for my bronco. i would normaly just get a ranger, but i need room for my 2 kids to ride in it from time to time, and dont realy think the jump seats in a ranger are safe enuff. and dont want the exploror sportstrac cause i want a real bed. i think i will be looking into the 04-08 generation of f150 extended cab, but could alter that if you guys feel there is a better year to fit what i want. hear is my first question. i have read the tire fitment guide in this forum.. al 17 pages. 2 questions about that. 1 i see i can fit 35's with a 2 or 3 inch levaling kit. if i did that kit and a 3" body lift what size tires could i fit? the second question is asuming it is somewere in the 37" to 38" range. would the front axle be an issue? i dont want to be replacing ball joints or wheelbarings on a regular bassis. thanks

Welcome to the site.

I am in Arizona so I have never seen that brownish paint color that you are using around the edges. I have heard in the past that it is a special color that is only available in certain parts of the country.

Looks like a lot of fun though. A lot funner than what I got.

As far as your questions I can not really help you out.

You mean to say that vehicles don't rust in other parts of the coutnry???? That's something I cant even wrap my mind around...In N Maine its jsut a daily thing we deal with, rust on everything. its like trying to hold back the wind if you try to save ur stuff from rusting
