Default Newby from VA

What's up folks? Not really a big motor head but I was shopping around for a used 4x4 truck to help deal with the weather here. I found a 2004 FX4 with the 5.4 triton, with 90k miles on it, that was pretty much decked out and thought I'd give it a try. Loved it, so now it's in the driveway!!!
A lot of truck for me!!! But, I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions and this seems to be the place for the answers to them.
Thanks in advance for any help and advise!!!

Thanks, I just got it from a local dealer last week. They did all the scheduled maintenance like new brakes, filters and so on. Salesman assured me they changed the plugs when they did the compression test.
We've gotten a few vehicles from them and always been pleased.

Yeah, I worked out of Ford vans for years and loved the 300 inline 6 cylinders. So much easier to work on!!!!!

Thanks for the welcome! I live in the mountains in southwest VA near the WV line and we got almost a foot of snow last night. That truck came in real handy today!!

Nice. I bought mine right after that blizzard we got a few weeks ago. Took it out today and it did great in the 6" of snow we got.
