newbie from th' ATL!
hello all!
my name is wayne from ATLANTA...
not long ago, i got my first truck, a 1990 XLT and i am in love with this vehicle. me n my partner named him ratalouie. i might even love this truck more than my partner, just a little. i have had him 7 months and he's developed a little problem that after all my research on the internet tells me it's either the oil pump, at worst or at best just the oil filter (though that seems wishful thinking). anyone can answer the question i posted in the late model forum... i'd appreciate any help. ratalouie is an old truck, but he was obviously well-maintained. seriously, when i lift the hood it looks like he used to get polished. even the firewall, is shiny white paint. i wouldn't have bought him if it looked bunk. mileage is under 145,000... not a lot for an old truck. always loved the ford F150 - nearly every model and make i see are just beautiful. even when they're beat the f*** up. i love this truck, i don't want it to die on me... need advice? P.S. - poor as hell at the moment.
