Howdy yall,

My truck: 2006 F150 (duh) Black, Desert Tan SC 4x4 Lariat 5.4L V8

Mods: Ride Tech 20" Chrome Wheels. 275/55/20 Eagle GTA

2 10" Kicker Subs powered by 400W Kicker Amp 4 Kenwood Exceleron Door Speakers

I am looking to drop some type of performance Dual exhuast on this bad boy within the next couple of weeks but need some info on whats best for this truck and my neighbors. Leaning towards Flowmaster Delta 40 series, but any input I could get would be great. Thanks for any info.

Submit a picture as soon as I get a good one.

See ya!

go magnaflow. Flowmasters dont do very well on mod motors. Flow-thru mufflers will yield better flow and negate that god aweful interior resonance.

But also, there are quite a few very well made single kits from Zoomers, Corsa, and Volant.

Welcome to the site!! I have the 40 series mufflers and I love them!!! There's not alot of interior drone at all and on the interstate you can hear nothing in the cab.

Welcome to the boards. From everything I have read and heard the Magnaflow is the best setup to go with. I have a custom SIDO exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler and love it.

I have the flowmaster 40 series and I must admit that it does have that "awful drone" but only at around 60mph & around 1800-2000 rpms..... I just crank up the "Stones" and roll with it!
