Default New from VA

Hey everyone. My names Brian, I'm 22, and I live in Chesapeake, VA.
I just picked up my first F150 (first truck owned). It's a 2000 XLT Extended cab 4x4, 5.4L V8. Color is navy blue, some of the pictures aren't the best since it's with my cell phone when I first got the truck. I will post more high resolution pictures later when the weather clears. It's got 72000 miles and was owned by an older guy here locally for its life so it's never been abused or anything. I picked it up for $9,000. It's going to be my daily so my 2001 Bullitt doesn't get more miles or have to be out in the elements.

And just to clear up any questions about my username, it's the username I use on all forums I post on. I own a 2001 Bullitt Mustang and it's the rarest of the three colors they came in, True Blue. There were only 723 ever produced, hence the name.

Pictures:

Plans for the truck:
I have already removed the metal dealership plates from the mud flaps, removed the camper shell, removed stickers and attempted to clean up the front grille
I want to eventually lift it around 6 inches with 35 12.50s on some M/T classic wheels, get spray in bed liner, HID headlights, maybe lightning headlights, "lights behind the grille", possibly a westin bull bar with KC lights, new stereo (touch screen with nav/bluetooth/etc) and speakers, tint windows, throttle body, either CAI or drop in K&N filter, steering wheel cover. I just got it so I'm still tossing around different ideas from pictures/posts I see on here.

Thanks and hope to enjoy my stay here.

Thank you, same to you.

I've been surfing around reading up on the threads and I see a lot of good data.

The metal pieces were removed from the mud flaps but are you saying get completely new ones? They will end up coming off once I lift it. The only reason I'm holding off on wheels and tires is because the previous owner had brand new tires put on right before sale... which is good but kinda makes me want to wait just to get these used up. I'm not sure what to do first now. Got a few ideas I'm tossing around
