Default New from New Jersey

Hey Girls and Boys! Not entirely new to the forum as I've been snooping around for months trying to decide "to buy" or "not to buy" and F-150 and how it should be configured. Well I just ordered the following; FX4 SSCRW 145" Eco-boost in Oxford White w/NAV, Lux Pkg, Max Tow Pkg, Moonroof, and Tailgate step. I have not owned an American made vehicle in 25 years, so the decision was additionally difficult. But at this stage in my life I now need and want a "real" truck and no one makes real trucks better than Ford.

The one thing that swayed my decision most was the Ecoboost engine. I'm coming out of another twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine made famous in 07 when BMW introduced the 335i. My 4 year experience with that motor made getting the Ecoboost a no-brainer. The technology is solid and how can you beat V8 power with V6 fuel economy.

Mods planned include the AMP Power Step; wiring up a HDD to the 2nd USB port in back of the head unit; HID low and fog lights; and installing an oil catch can (a must have with forced induction engines).

Hope to talk to you all soon.
Wosby

P.S.
Out of the 3 forums I found dedicated to the F150, this was was the clear winner!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! With all our shared experiences we should be able to keep our trucks looking and running their best for years to come.
