New in MO
Hey guys, new to the site.....maybe a new Ford owner, maybe.
Looking at a new 2014 STX super cab, currently own a Jeep Wrangler and miss having a truck, some of the prices on the 2014s now are pretty good so might pull the trigger on one.
My question is are people happy with the STX? I know its more of a base model, but you aren't really sacrificing anything outside of comforts (leather, upgraded audio etc) correct? Looks like a sharp truck, but wanted to get owner feedback just in case. Engine and drive train wise seems like the solid tried and true options on it.
Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the site! Yes, you're correct about that. You're mostly just giving up creature comforts at that level, but if you don't need/want/care about those things then there is no reason to pay extra for them. As far as giving up the Jeep for a truck with a bed. I had a 2012 Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited with a hard top and I now have a 2009 F150 FX4 Supercrew. I would much rather have the F150. That's just my opinion, but the truck is WAY more useful than the Jeep ever was.
Yeah, the Jeep Wranglers are fun for rock climbing, etc., but if you're not doing that all the time then an F-150 will be so much more useful. One or two trips to Home Depot or Lowe's will prove that, lol. Personally, I think you would be very happy with the truck!
