Question New Member with ?'s

Hi All,

I have an 02 F-150 Supercrew with 196,xxx miles. I am original owner, and have never had any problems out of it. I have the 5.4, AEM Intake, Magnaflow muffler back exhaust for my performance mods. I was looking at getting a custom tune from SCT, I mainly want a little better gas mileage, but would love the performance gains as well. What do ya'll request? Here are a couple pics.

Welcome to the forum, I see from your profile you have the 5.4 , where do you live (ie. mountains, plains...?) what kind of mileage are you getting now?

Thanks for the compliments guys, and I'm not complaining about the gas mileage, but I'm sure it can be improved, especially since I have exhaust and intake and the computer hasn't been tuned for the extra incoming and outgoing air.

I think you are doing well on mileage. If you are up on all your maintenance of transmission and rear end, nothing causing extra drag on moving parts... short of getting a scan gauge
Amazon Amazon
basic to check your driving habits with an instant MPG display... I don't think you can get better than 15 for around town type driving...

With hills and running it to almost empty and doing mostly highway, some in town at cruise control 60 to 67mph with my set up got me 16.3 mpg...

I'm going with that basic scan gauge to see if I can modify any more habits...

I have stock exhaust, a K&N cold air and hypertech program...

Well apparently no one is understanding my original question. I am wanting to get a custom tune for my truck, and I want to know what would be best. I understand compared to others ny gas mileage isn't bad, I.would really just like my truck to be tuned because of the extra air flow I am getting from my exhaust and intake. Also, I have cut 2 of my CATs off.
