Default New member with a heck of a story!

Hi guys, my name is james marshall. This story is a bit long but worth it so bare with me. A couple years ago i bought a 99 f150 with the 4.6. Ive been driving it like a mad man ever since, hehe. When i bought the truck it had a bent frame and only cost 2,000. Havent had a single issue with it other then getting stranded once with a bad battery. Anyways, so my friend has the key to a gate which holds a 9,000 acre abandoned rocket production facility which also housed a helicopter weapon testing range, a ballistic test range, and rockets for nasa back between the 50's and 80's. While driving around we see a black suburban turn and start speeding towards us. So im following my buddy and we turn and haul a** in the opposite direction towards the bunker our vehicles fit into cause who wouldnt? Lol. anyways i hit a patch of gravel doing 90 and lost control. Went off the road about 600 feet into a bumpy field. After a lot of work on that steering wheel to pull the truck off of two wheels, i got it stopped and limped it onto the road, and could feel it wasnt right. Fearing the worst, i get out of my truck to inspect what i thought was my totalled truck. Both passenger tires were blown off the beads. In a hurry we got the back tire popped back on the bead with a bike pump, and threw the spare on the front. At this point we drove away, and nothing seemed to be wrong. Here is the awesome part, now when i got the truck, if i measured from bed height to the ground the driver side was about three inches higher then the passenger side. It is now 1 and a qaurter inches higher then the passenger side. After a 90 mile an hour control loss, going up on two wheels, taking out a steel stake, and rototilling a 10 foot wide by 600 foot long path, nearly rolling my truck killing myself, the "built ford tough" f150 suffered nothing more than a frame straightening. It handles better too. I later popped the front tire back on the bead and threw it back on. Anyways, thought you guys would get a kick out of this story, and looking forward to your responses

Welcome to the forum. If we see any black suburbans in the forum at least we know where they came from.

Oh just in case your curious, look up portrero (maybe potrero) canyon in beaumont, ca. It was owned originally by the grand central rocket company then bought by lockheed martin. They built the boosters for the saturn rockets that served in some of the early apollo missions.
