Trying to hook up a wire to my fan, in the engine compartment, but I can't find the old wire... can anyone help? thank you

Hmmm... We will need alot more info than that. First: what year/model, second: what are you trying to do, third: how much mechanical know-how do you posess?

I have a '78 F150 4x4, and I am installing a new wiring harness from painless. I am trying to find where I hook up the wire for the fan (by the radiatior). I hope you can help me? Thanks!

Oh, I am not a mechanic, but I have some experience with replacing items (IE: alternator, starter, plugs, wires, brakes, and some wiring now!
