Great forum!! More of a lurker than a poster.
Added another to the stable.
2011 FX4 Screw, Ecoboost, 3.73EL, Oxford White 145"
Build date 6/16/11
Tried to replicate the 2-1 shift issue (unloaded) and no shudder yet. Did feel a slight clunk when downshifting 2-1 going up a steep grade but no shudder.
We'll see after 1k towing 18' trailer and 2 RZR's
Build quality on par with previous Fords
Dislike's so far: (coming from 2001 Lariat Screw 5.4 with 275k )
Grab bar drivers side a pillar biggest dislike, Exhaust note, No light under the hood... WTF
Great truck!!!!
Other Ford's: 1989 Mustang GT built 302, Vortech @ 10psi.
Keeping the 2001 Screw as a beater. 275K nothing rebuilt and still running strong....its got to quit soon???
