Well that was stupid, the Edge won't even work with a blower. The only thing the Edge would do would be a nice set of gauges.

When did I even mention a Edge BTW?

Isn't the Livewire similiar to the Edge? As far as canned/custom tunes and user options?
Just a lucky guess.

They both have "canned tunes" but IMO the Livewire isn't worth the extra money. Personally I wouldn't go with either one of them, just a simple Xcal2 for me.
