Yo! F-150 enthusiasts what's up?
I really like this forum and of course Ford Trucks.

I recently purchased an '05 King Ranch. It is awesome.
I have a question though about updating the CD/Radio without interfering with the fold down DVD player. Can it be done? I have used Crutchfield before for car stereos and they have a disclaimer about this. I am wondering has anyone updated their CD/Radios and still able to keep the factory fold down DVD?

 

Congrats on your truck purchase! I'm looking to buy a King Ranch myself, they're pretty sweet trucks.

As for the radio, I'm afraid I won't be much help...hopefully one of the other guys will jump in an and answer your question.

 

Yeah Buddy they are pretty sweet trucks. I got a pretty good deal on an '05 it only had 53k miles. You gotta get one.

 

I found one not too far from me...it's an 02 with 95k miles on it, and price isn't bad on it either. I would love to buy it. I might give the owner a call tomorrow and set up a test drive.
